Available Programs
In any of our professional programs, students will receive instruction and learn techniques from NRA, USCCA and State Certified Instructors. Take a look at the programs available, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions. Range and classroom instruction performed in conjunction with the NRA, USCCA and The Firearm Industry Trade Association (NSSF).
Washington D.C Concealed Carry
Handgun Permit

Our Washington D.C Concealed Handgun Carry Permit training class meets all the requirements set forth by the District. The initial permit training consists of a 2-day (16 hrs.) class with 2 hours of range training. The renewal permit training consists of a 4-hour training class with 2 hours of range training. Completion of this training does not guarantee the District will issue you a concealed handgun permit. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more about this class. This class is offered by appointment only and has a 2 student minimum (private class fee will be assigned for a single person training session). Submit a training request on the "Request a Class" or call to schedule your training.
Note: You must have basic handgun knowledge and be able to demonstrate how to safely use firearms. This is an advanced concealed carry training class. You should already be proficient with your handgun, prior to taking this class.
Students must provide: a .380 or larger caliber handgun in good working order, with at least 2 magazines, an outside the waistband holster specific to your handgun, a sturdy belt, and 150 rounds of factory ammunition.
Students unable to demonstrate safe gun handling, and manipulation, will be ejected without refund.
(Initial 2-day classes are back-to-back days)
Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Course Evaluation form.
This is a non live-fire class. No live ammunition allowed in the classroom
NRA Range Safety Officer

The Defensive Pistol Course will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. This is a 1-day training course with a heavy focus on the range time and holster draw. Prospective students must have completed Concealed Carry training, or equivalent, prior to enrolling in this defensive pistol training. Call for additional details.
Students must provide: a .380 or larger caliber handgun in good working order, with at least 2 magazines and magazine holster, an outside the waistband holster specific to your handgun, a sturdy belt, and 200 rounds of factory ammunition. Note: You should already be proficient with your handgun prior to enrolling in this class. No inside the waistband holsters.
Students unable to demonstrate safe gun handling, and manipulation, will be ejected without refund.

USCCA Mini Training Series
Don't have an entire day to spend in a training class? Classes are too lengthy for your family's busy schedule. Let us help with the USCCA mini training series.
Our mini classes range from 55 minutes to 2.5 hours and allow us to teach you in abbreviated segments of the core curriculum, in addition to the fully formatted “certified” courses (Certified Concealed Carry, Certified Basic Handgun, and Certified Home Defense Fundamentals).
This gives you the ability to participate in shorter classes when the window of opportunity does not allow for the full-version courses. It will help you save time, give you more flexibility with your schedule and allow you more training options. Best of all, any mini class taken will count toward the fully formatted certified training class.

NRA Basics of Rifle/AR-15

Whether you’re considering a new hobby or looking to improve your current skillset, our NRA Basic Rifle Class offers everything you need to create a solid foundation in rifle marksmanship, utilizing the AR-15 platform. NRA Basics of Pistol

The NRA Basics of Pistol Class is our most complete and most popular handgun training class for beginners. We start with the absolute basics, that include everything from pistol purchasing and firearms storage, to skilled shooting fundamentals and range qualification. We’ll be there each step of the way, with your new adventure. Curious to learn more about this program? Get in touch, we’ll be happy to help. Pistol, ammunition, eyes and ear protection are all provided. This is an 8 hr. live-fire class.
This course satisfies VA and WV non-resident concealed carry requirements
Maryland CCW - Concealed Carry and Wear
$295 - Initial Application (2-Days)

Our State of Maryland Concealed Carry and Wear training class, covers all State training requirements in order to obtain a resident/non-resident Maryland CCW permit. Completion of this training does not guarantee the State of Maryland will issue you, a CCW permit. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to learn more about this class and the State requirements for obtaining a CCW permit.
Note: You must have basic handgun knowledge and be able to demonstrate how to safely use firearms. This is an advanced concealed carry training class. You should already be proficient with your handgun, prior to taking this class.
Students must provide: a .380 or larger caliber handgun in good working order, with at least 2 magazines, an outside the waistband holster specific to your handgun, a sturdy belt, and 75 rounds of factory ammunition.
Initial application is a 2-day (16hr.) class. Renewal application is a 1-day (8 hr.) class.

Maryland Handgun Qualification License - HQL
(Available live on Zoom)

Maryland Handgun Qualification License - HQL class offers all Training to meet the State of Maryland minimum requirements, in order to apply for an HQL application. Contact us today with any questions or for more information.
We are proud to now offer the MD HQL live via Zoom.
An in person Live-Fire component is still required to complete the training, and will be schedule one-on-one.
Pistol, ammunition, eyes and ear protection are all provided. 4 hours
Women’s Basic Handgun Class

Our All Women’s Basic Handgun Class is a refreshing change from the normal. We’ve modeled it after our detailed oriented, NRA Basics of Pistol class. We’ll provide a relaxed, well rounded training approach, just for women.
Pistol, ammunition, eyes and ear protection are all provided. This is an 8 hr. live-fire class.
This course satisfies VA and WV non-resident concealed carry requirements
NRA Refuse to be a Victim
$65
NRA Refuse to be a Victim - this is a firearms-free training, that centers on situational awareness and non-lethal deterrents. This is a great class for kids and adults. A must-have for new college students.
Options for large or small group settings are available.

Class offerings taking place at RFT main training facility, offer a clean portable bathroom. A sink, soap, and water are available to students for sanitary cleanup. Additionally, a permeant public bathroom is available 1 mile from the main training facility.
